Altamonte
Springs, Fla. Greg Rike Productions, Inc., in central Florida, the same
facility that hosted MTV’s “The Making of the Band”
with Otown, announces that they are looking for talent and giving away
some recording contracts! The talent contest is open to any amateur
with musical talent who would like the opportunity to win a recording
contract to record in the same studio that has been used by Deep Purple,
the Backstreet Boys, Aaron Carter, Brittany Spears, Matchbox 20, Little
River Band, Patti Labelle, Mandy Moore and others.
Contestants
should send in a tape or CD with a photo to Greg Rike Productions, 1191
Douglas Avenue, Altamonte Springs, Fl 32714 along with their $30.00
entry fee. They can go to www.gregrikeproductions.com for the application
and contest rules. Finalists will come to the studio and compete for
the final round of the contest where three contestants will win recording
contracts of varying amounts. Greg Rike Productions will work with these
individuals and along with Borders who is a sponsor of the contest,
will host some performances at local stores.
Dianne Moffett,
Studio Manager at Greg Rike Productions, said, “due to overwhelming
response the deadline to the contest has been extended to December 30th.”
“Behind
every successful artist and entertainment company is a creative genius
that contributes to their success and Greg is no exception,” Moffett
said. Greg Rike said, “ We have seen a lot of talent walk through
our doors since we opened 30 years ago. Some were famous when they came
to us, some got famous after they left and others never got famous.
Nonetheless, they all loved music. One thing we do know is that time
is going by pretty fast and if you have talent and want to let anyone
else hear it and enjoy it, you gotta record it!”
