Conflict Management By Dianne Irene
© 2004
A new sensibility about conflict reflects the
ability to channel energy into a positive outcome where resolution
is the goal rather than ascertaining a victory of political, personal,
or egocentric origin. The power is in how one reacts to situations
in life and not always, what is happening. It is rather a comfort
to see the higher functioning of individuals in social groups.

Heart Awareness By Roger Drummer
February 2009
It’s appropriate to expand our awareness about
what constitutes heart health. Medically you’re bombarded with
information about statin drugs as if they hold the answer to all
of your heart issues. Nutritionally, you can be confused about
all the miracles being offered being offered by alternative sources,
many of which are truly wonderful. But on a day like today it’s
a good time to relax and see things in a slightly different focus.

| Mixing
Human DNA with Animals By Dianne Irene July 2007
There has been talk of mixing DNA of different
species. We see examples of this in ancient art and history contains
stories about them. Recently, according to National Geographic
News, Chinese scientists in 2003 were successful at combining
human cells in rabbit eggs and terminated them after a short period
of development. Last year a Mayo clinic in the United States successfully
had human blood flowing through the veins of pigs. A university
in California has indicated they would like to combine human brain
and mice. Read

| Nutrition
By Dianne Irene August 2007
Our bodies were designed to be in harmony with
nature. When this balnce is disrupted, degeneration occurs. There
are no magic cures, but only good science and common sense. Medicine
is mostly synthetic which means that it interupts the balance
of our body with nature. This means degeneration in one form or
another. By using natural substances you maintain the balance
and provide what the body needs to repair itself. Read

Chinese and Indian Philosophy of Health
The Ayurvedic philosophy and the Chinese philosophy
of health stresses the importance of balance in all things that
contain life and energy. This beautifully paints a motif of harmony
for health and wellness. Both philosophies span back at least
5,000 years and concentrate on using herbs as compliments of one
another. This holistic approach of supplementation goes beyond
the traditional use of one substance for a symptom. Instead they
focus on the entire organism and achieving a balance. The geographic
proximity of these schools of thought uses natural substances
intact and in complementation. Unlike the philosophy of Western
medicine that will often derive a single substance from a compound,
the supporting nutritive substances are then abiding within the
laws of nature. Often this alleviates the need to treat another
complication as a result of this unnatural appearance.

| Project
Development Philosophy: By Dianne Irene
Organization is essential. If things are not
organized then it is important to find some system to keep things
straight mentally. Most of us have many projects going on in everyday
life without realizing it. We find a way to prioritize what can
wait and what must take precedence. Purpose must be established
early. Goals to reach that purpose should be identified and prioritized.
Scheduling becomes an important tool to keep things on track.

| Nicola
Tesla By Dianne Irene
Nicola Tesla was a brilliant physicist, mechanical,
electrical engineer, and inventor. He was born under the Austro
Hungarian Empire and later became a United States citizen. He
has been considered, “The Father of Physics” and even credited
with, “the man who invented the twentieth century.” While the
mastery of science came quite naturally to Telsa, he struggled
with completing school, handling stress, and having relationships
with his family. He seemed to live barely inside of everyday reality
and experienced visions that were apparently tied to his ideas.
He would envision an idea in great detail before he would begin
its actual creation. He was so intense that he even suffered a
nervous breakdown early in his career. Telsa was also unconcerned
with finances and dedicated himself instead to his work. He made
claims about possible advances that no one had conceived of exploring.
While he can be credited for contributions that range from electromagnetism,
robotics, x-rays, radar technology, ballistics, and even with
inventing radio, he was also seen as a mad scientist. Read
